Gangneung is small city on the East coast of Korea. It is closest point on the East Sea if you go there from Seoul. There are many attractions for tourists in this area: buddhist temples, hiking tracks, museums and parks. Many people come here to spend time on sea shore, eat raw fish and wach sunrise.

Deokjeok Island or Deokjeok-do (덕적도) is a biggest island in group that is located at 50 km off the west coast. It is the part of Incheon Metropolitan City.
Deokjeok Island has nice beaches and few small villages it is nice and quiet place to spend weekend.
There are two main ways how to get to island from Incheon port or from Daebu-do island. It takes about 1.5-2 hr to get there.
1. Ferry arrival. Boat from Daebu Island can take cars and people onboard.
2. Another faster ferry that goes from Incheon Port, it is more comfortable but it can take only passangers not cars.
